Today we trekked for about five hours, up and down, slipping, sliding and falling, at Cat Bat National Park. We were told that there are many wildlife in the park, but we only saw a green snake on a big leaf, perhaps it is a good thing that we did not have the chance to meet the rest.
After all, it was a new and exciting experience to me, as I had never trekked in a jungle. Although I felt quite tough during the trekking, I am glad to have this experience.
We went back to the same restaurant where we had our dinner last evening for lunch. After that, transferred to Hai Phong City by hydrofoil, from there, drives back to Hanoi.
We reached Hanoi at about 6.45pm, as we had to leave for railway station at 8.15pm, we quickly exchanged our luggage with those we parked at the hotel, and then rushed to a restaurant nearby for our dinner.
Finally, we managed to meet the hotel’s staff on time. He called a taxi and went to the railway station with us. At the station, he left four of us at a corner; we do not know where he had gone and what he had done. After a while, he came back with the boarding pass and led us to the platform, and left after we boarded the train.
We traveled by train no. SP1 to Lao Cai, departed at 9.15pm. Four of us stayed in a soft sleeper cabin. It’s clean and comfortable and no ticket checking during the whole journey. We can rest without disturbance the whole night until somebody knocked on our door to keep us inform about 15 minutes before arriving Lao Cai.
