Trekking in Singapore (Yio Chu Kang - Upper Thomson)

The assembly point today is at Yio Chu Kang MRT station and the group set out at 8am sharp.

After passing by the tennis court, stadium and swimming complex, we turned to a path beside a temple.

After that, we went into a grove. The surrounding reminded me of our trekking experience at Cat Ba National Park.

Not long after getting into the grove, we saw some clothes and sarong hanging around, and a few guys who look like illegal immigrants were standing beside a small pond. While passing by them, both parties were trying to act as if nothing were on our mind.

I was trying to catch the shot while the plane flying over us. One of the trekker joked that the plane is going to drop a bomb.

I asked him: “Isn’t it looks like a film image, we are to flee for safety while the enemy plane is trying to bomb?” The other lady added immediately: “No, we lose our way and this plane is here to search for us”. If there was a psychologist around, he probably would say: “One is a negative thinker whereas the other is a positive thinker”.

We saw quite a number of durian on the floor.
