The sky had turned dark when we started off from Khatib MRT Station at 8am.
The rain started 10 minutes later and became heavier; we had no choice but to stop for a while at the Bottle Tree Park.
We continued our journey after 20 minutes rest and headed towards Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium and after that, proceed to Seletar Reservoir.
We reached the Upper Seletar Reservoir Park’s rocket tower at around 10.15am and took a 20 minutes there.
After that, we continue trekking for about two hours.
Some of the paths were muddy whereas the others were dry like no rain at all earlier.
According to our leader’s original plan, we supposed to reach Zheng Hua at around 1pm, but we lost our way.
At the end of the day, although we finish trekking at 1pm as planned, we were not at Zheng Hua, but back to the Upper Seletar Reservoir Park instead.
One of the member had to scrap her trekking shoes after todays' trip
