Trekking in Singapore (MacRitchie, Ruins of Syonan Jinja)

We set out from the exit A of Marymount MRT Station and took about 15 minutes to reach MacRitchie Reservoir.

Marymount MRT Station exit "A"

It supposed to be an easy trek from MacRitchie to the Turf City at Bukit Timah before the Lunar New Year.

While we relaxed and walked by the board way, we met the other group of trekkers on the way to the Ranger Station, I called them the “Jinja” group for the nonce.

After a short break at the Ranger Station, our leader decided to change the route by following his friend from the “Jinja” group to the Ruins of Syonan Jinja.

As there are quite a number of senior citizens in our group, our leader decided not to cross the water but return via the same way we entered.
